Bilingual Arts Program

This half-day program has been created to allow children the freedom to explore the worlds of creative movement (dance, tumbling, and yoga), art, theatre and music through hands-on expressive creativity. Our curriculum is progressive, offering a wonderful introduction to the following arts taught primarily in Spanish by professional dancers and artists:

Ballet and Tap – Students experience a unique introduction to ballet and tap through song and games.

Visual Art - Students will explore watercolors and tempera paints, pastels, collage, sculpture and digital photography.

Tumbling – The atmosphere in this class helps children experience fun and beneficial physical activity through a loco motor warm-up, a strength & flexibility workout, and basic large motor and tumbling skills.

Yoga – This class provides children with a natural and healthy way to exercise, relax, focus, and increase health and well-being while having a lot of FUN! Children will learn easy moving yoga poses, balance, good posture, and body awareness.

Theatre – The actors will learn all about being on stage, projecting their voices, taking care of props, listening for cues, and much, much, more all while preparing to perform in Spanish.

Music – Guest musicians from the international music community join us on a monthly basis to provide introductions to unique instruments.
